Here is a running list of the best current cash-back shopping portal bonuses. For this roundup, I only included bonuses of $10 or more, since anything below that usually isn’t worth the effort.

These offers change frequently, but I try to keep this page as current as possible.

The table below lists the current bonuses. If you notice anything that needs updating, please leave a comment.

PlatformOffer
Rakuten$50 bonus after spending $50 within 90 days
Capital One Shopping$80 bonus after using the extension for 90 days
Kudos$20 bonus after your first Boost purchase of $30 or more
GoCashBack$15 bonus with code wealth
ShopBack$15 bonus after a qualifying purchase
Swagbucks$10 bonus after spending $25
BeFrugal$10 bonus after you earn $10 cash back
HooplaDoopla$10 bonus after a qualifying purchase (earns $1 cash back within 90 days)

Many of the links on this page are referral links. If you use one, thank you — and feel free to refer a friend or family member afterward to earn a bonus of your own.

While these are the best bonuses available right now, they are not the same as our picks for the best cash back apps. If you want a single app with strong average cash back rates, reliable tracking, and an easy interface, see our guide to the best cash back apps, as well as our detailed Rakuten review, Capital One Shopping review, and Kudos review.

1. Rakuten

Offer$50 bonus after spending $50 within 90 days
Payout OptionsPayPal or check
Our Rating4.8 out of 5

Rakuten has one of the strongest sign-up bonuses available and remains one of the best cash back portals overall thanks to its high everyday rates and reliable tracking. You can cash out normally or convert rewards to Bilt points, which I often transfer to Hyatt for significantly higher value than standard cash back. In addition to Bilt, you can also cash out via American Express Membership Rewards.

You can read more about the current promotion on our Rakuten bonus page or see a full breakdown in our Rakuten review.

Go to Rakuten.

2. Capital One Shopping

Offer$80 for new users who install and use the browser extension for 90 days
Payout OptionsGift cards only
Our Rating4.8 out of 5

Capital One Shopping can deliver some of the highest cash back rates available through its personalized and exclusive offers.

While standard rates may not look impressive, the exclusive deals can be unbeatable.

In just a few days of normal holiday shopping, I earned $303.75 back on a group cooking class booking, $29.83 back on a pair of UGGs for my daughter, $50 back on an $85 purchase at Dick’s Sporting Goods, and $150 back on a $269 Dyson order.

The total spent across these purchases was $1,141.48, and the total rewards came to $533.58.

It’s a good example of how Capital One Shopping’s exclusive offers can outperform standard cash back rates by a wide margin when the right deals pop up.

These four purchases totaled $1,141.48, and the rewards came to $533.58 — an average cashback rate of 46.7%.

The downside is that rewards are paid in gift cards, but once you learn how to use the platform, the deals cannot be matched by any other platform.

If you want to take advantage of the current Capital One Shopping bonus, see our full guide for complete details.

You can see a full breakdown and tips to get personalized deals to appear in Capital One Shopping review.

Go to Capital One Shopping.

3. Kudos

Offer$20 bonus after your first Boost purchase of $30 or more
Payout OptionsAmazon gift cards and PayPal
Our Rating4.8 out of 5

Kudos is different from most cash back tools because it passes along the commission a store pays them instead of keeping most of it — free members get 80% of the commission, and Premium members get the full 100%.

Kudos makes money mainly when users sign up for credit cards through the recommendations in the app, along with Premium subscriptions. Because of that, it can keep its Boost rates near the top of the market.

A “Kudos Boost” is just their term for extra cash back at certain stores, on top of whatever rewards your credit card already earns.

Boost stores and limited-time Flash Boosts can pay some of the highest rates available, and the extension also tells you which of your cards will earn the most on each purchase.

The $20 sign-up bonus (using code WEALTH_KUDOS) is solid, and the platform has quickly become one of my favorite newer tools in the cash back space.

You can read more about the current promotion on our Kudos bonus page or see a full breakdown in our Kudos review.

Go to Kudos (code automatically applies)

4. GoCashBack

Offer$15 bonus with code wealth
Payout OptionsPayPal, check, or gift cards
Our Rating4.0 out of 5

GoCashBack offers an exclusive $15 sign-up bonus for Ways To Wealth readers, which is higher than the standard public offer.

The platform occasionally runs limited-time promotions that beat larger portals, and it has paid me before. But I’ve had enough trouble cashing out that I’d rank it far below the better cash-back sites I’ve used.

If there’s a strong cash-back offer, GoCashBack may still be worth using. I’d consider it if the rate were two or three times higher than what I could get elsewhere, but I wouldn’t make it my go-to cash-back site. Also note that the bonus only becomes available to withdraw after you’ve earned $10 in cash back.

You can read more about my experience and the current offer on our GoCashBack bonus page.

Go to GoCashBack.

5. ShopBack

Offer$15 bonus after a qualifying purchase
Payout OptionsPayPal
Our Rating4.0

ShopBack currently offers a $15 bonus for new members who join through a referral link and make a qualifying purchase — the exact requirement is shown during sign-up.

I haven’t personally used ShopBack yet, and reviews are a bit mixed, but the bonus itself is straightforward and only requires linking your PayPal account as your withdrawal method.

There’s no full review yet, but you can join using my referral link below.

6. Swagbucks

Offer$10 bonus after spending $25
Payout OptionsPayPal or gift cards
Our Rating4.8 out of 5 (more for its rewards platform than cashback shopping)

Swagbucks is better known for its rewards, surveys, and “get-paid-to” offers than its cash-back shopping portal, but the $10 bonus is still easy to earn with a single $25 purchase.

I rarely use Swagbucks as a primary shopping engine unless there’s a strong limited-time offer, but it remains a solid all-around platform with plenty of other high-value opportunities — especially bank bonuses and special promotions.

You can read more about the current promotion on our Swagbucks bonus page or see a full breakdown in our Swagbucks review.

Go to Swagbucks.

7. BeFrugal

Offer$10 bonus after you earn $10 in cash back
Payout OptionsPayPal, Zelle, check, or gift cards
Our Rating4.2 out of 5

BeFrugal has been around for years and has a solid reputation as a reliable cash-back portal. The $10 bonus is easy to unlock if you can earn $10 in cash back within your first year, and payout options are strong — including Zelle.

They also offer a “125% best rate guarantee,” but you’ll need to jump through a few hoops for it, so I’d treat that as a nice-to-have rather than a primary feature.

Overall, BeFrugal is a good addition if you’re stacking multiple bonuses or checking every portal before a big purchase.

You can read more about the platform in our BeFrugal review.

Go to BeFrugal.

8. HooplaDoopla

Offer$10 bonus after a qualifying purchase that earns $1 in rewards within 90 days
Payout OptionsPayPal, Venmo, or check
Our Rating4.2 out of 5

HooplaDoopla is a smaller cash-back portal, but I’ve had good results when using it for select stores that show up as the highest rate.

In my case, Walmart often ranks highest here — I even earned $194 cash back on a sauna purchase, and the payout arrived without any issues.

To unlock the $10 bonus, you just need to make a qualifying purchase, which means any order that earns at least $1 in cash back after clicking through HooplaDoopla, within 90 days of signing up.

There’s no full review yet, but you can join using my referral link below.

Cashback Shopping Tips

Some tips for getting the most out of cash back sites are:

  • Stack card-linked offers whenever possible. You can often layer Chase Offers, Amex Offers, Citi Merchant Offers, and bank statement-credit deals on top of these shopping portal bonuses. Just make sure you’re clicking through the cash-back portal for tracking — not through your credit card’s shopping portal.
  • Use SaveWise to find extra stackable offers and compare cashback rates. Apps like SaveWise make it easy to see which merchant offers can stack without breaking portal tracking rules. You can also compare cash-back rates across portals and even set alerts when a store (like Apple) hits your target rate. I’ve used this often before big purchases.
  • Let Kudos pick the right credit card at checkout. Kudos automatically recommends the best-earning card for each purchase, which is especially helpful when you have rotating or category-based cards.
  • Refer a spouse or family member for extra earnings. For the bigger bonuses, this can add up fast. Example: a $50 bonus becomes $150 for the household when you sign up, refer your spouse, and you both complete the requirements.
  • Be careful with browser extensions. If you’re trying to earn a bonus from a specific portal, uninstall or disable competing extensions. Another portal extension can “steal” the click and block your bonus from tracking.
